ALBANY COUNTY — The county’s public works department is closing Old Ravena Road, which runs roughly parallel to State Route 9W, intersecting it in two places, in the towns of Coeymans and Bethlehem, in order to replace a bridge superstructure.

The final public hearing for the Albany County redistricting process will be held on Aug. 5, after which the county redistricting commission will submit its map to the legislature for approval.

The Voorheesville Class of 1972 will be holding its 50th reunion on Sept. 24 at the Italian American Community Center for dining and dancing.

There will also be an informal picnic/party at Klapps in New Salem on Sept. 23.
