ALBANY COUNTY — The county’s public works department is closing Old Ravena Road, which runs roughly parallel to State Route 9W, intersecting it in two places, in the towns of Coeymans and Bethlehem, in order to replace a bridge superstructure.

Old Ravena Road will close on Monday, Aug. 8, at 7 a.m. and will stay closed until further notice. 

No through traffic, not even emergency vehicles, will be allowed through the closure, according to a release from the county. A signed detour will be in place, using Route 9W.
