Voorheesville Superintendent Brian Hunt, who had already announced his retirement, will be taking medical leave starting June 1.

On Saturday morning in Voorheesville, the village held it's annual Memorial Day parade along with the American Legion celebrating 100 years.

NEW SCOTLAND — Arthur Charles Hamilton, a decorated World War II veteran who served on Landing Ship, Tank (LST) 980 during D-Day, continued to serve his country and community after he left the Navy.

In Voorheesville, incumbents fell and budgets were easily approved on Tuesday, May 21.

VOORHEESVILLE — David Picard was caring man who was “dedicated to his family,” his brother Buddy Picard said.

David Earnest Picard died on Saturday, May 11, 2019. He was 79.

The Voorheesville Teachers’ Association, looking for a better way to communicate with the school board, has backed a candidate that it feels will help it in that pursuit.

Voorheesville Elementary presents The Little Mermaid this weekend at the Lydia Tobler Performing Arts Center at Clayton A. Bouton High School.

On May 21, two Voorheesville residents will vie for one seat on the library’s board of trustees, as incumbent Lance Moore is challenged by Belinda Heckler.
