KNOX—A first-time candidate wants to shake things up in Knox, a town that has had the same supervisor for over three decades.

KNOX—The owner of the Fox Creek Flea Market will keep his business running even though he has been, and will continue to be, ticketed for violating the town’s zoning ordinance.

BERNE—A Berne councilman will try to become town supervisor in November.

RENSSELAERVILLE — A large donation will preserve a wild portion of Rensselaerville and link two of the Hilltowns’ wildlife areas.

BERNE—The Berne-Knox-Westerlo School District is a lot different than the one in which the new school board president grew up.
"I went to a very large school," said Janet Finke.

Windmills may never crop up in the Hilltowns, but a group of residents is preparing for the possibility anyway.

KNOX—After several years of little or no business, a new owner has re-opened the Fox Creek Flea Market. The flea market in the southwest corner of Knox, just north of the hamlet of West Berne, has been open since Memorial Day.

BERNE—Sixty years after the end of World War II, the era will be recreated and commemorated at Berne Heritage Days this weekend. lt will be the first time the annual event will have a theme.
