On Tuesday evening Emre Rice and his mother Zeynep competed in the USA Taekwondo National Championships from June 28 to July 4 showed off their medals they won at the competition.

Mary Lou Quay Sapio

GUILDERLAND CENTER — For more than 35 years, Mary Lou Quay Sapio did laundry for Guilderland Center nursing-home residents. She died on Wednesday, July 3, 2019, at her home, after a short illness. She was 64.

Daughter of the late William Quay Sr. and Rachel Helligas Quay, she was a 1973 graduate of Guilderland High School.

The drivers of both vehicles were taken to hospitals, said Deputy Chief Curtis Cox of the Guilderland Police.
