Two members of the Guilderland Y Cyclones swim team have qualified to move on to the YMCA Nationals in Greensboro, North Carolina in April. 

Jay Tyler, director of Emergency Medical Operations for Guilderland, said that the bridge closure won’t affect response time for ambulance service in the town. “The public shouldn’t fear. We’re able to get to them from either the east or the west,” he said.

Sides include maple cornbread, sweet-potato casserole, and simmered greens. 

If the solar project were to be moved, Helios co-owner Michael Lossia would want to be sure that it would go through on the new site, he told The Enterprise.

MCKOWNVILLE — Betty Jane (née Hunter) Casatelli of McKownville was a homebody who loved her family and always supported their endeavors, according to her daughter, Lorraine Casatelli-Morse. 

The Dutch will send seven athletes to Staten Island for state track-and-field competition on March 7. Those seven Guilderland students reached the standard time or distance last Sunday at the University at Albany competition.

GUILDERLAND — The first of two public meetings will be held on Monday, March 2, for Guilderland residents to share their thoughts on trails and open space in town.

The town, working with the University at Albany’s Master of Regional Planning program, is developing a comprehensive pathway project.

The Rotterdam interconnect is one of the measures the town has taken that Guilderland’s superintendent of water, Timothy McIntyre, hopes will help improve water quality.
