Board mulls moratorium, hears protests against Black Creek Run proposal

Ten people spoke at the hearing on the Black Creek Run proposal — all of them against it. Their concerns centered on increasing water problems in an area already prone to flooding and increasing traffic in an area already suffering from delays.

Guilderland Chamber offers health insurance with ‘a human being responding’

The Guilderland Chamber is using Burt Anthony Associates, which handles Medicare, CDPHP, and MVP health and dental insurance. The Bethlehem chamber will manage the insurance, providing access to Shelli Taber, a licensed insurance agent with a specialty in health and dental insurance.

On Saturday, Nov. 4, the Guilderland girls’ volleyball team competed for the Section 2, Class AA sectional championship at Saratoga High School, for the first time in 11 years, against Columbia. The Dutch spiked and dug every ball but fell in five sets; 18-25, 28-26, 25-23, 12-25, 9-15.
