In recognition of his 45 years as a member of the Altamont Fire Department, Owen Murray accepts a certificate of appreciation from Chief Robert White at the annual installation dinner on Saturday at the Cider House Restaurant. Murray is a past chief of the department. He also has served in two other departments for 16 years, bringing his years in fire service to a total of 61.
