(Just off South Maine Street).  Proceeds for this event will go to help send Children to N.Y. State Department of Environmental Conservation Camp Colby in the Adirondacks this summer. We are hoping to send 6 children to this camp. Breakfast will include Eggs, French Toast, Pancakes, Sausage, Bacon, Toast, Juice, and Coffee. The event will go from 7 AM to Noon.

The menu includes spaghetti, meatballs, sausage, salad, eggplant, bread, desserts, and beverage. Proceeds will benefit the restoration of the two barns behind the Powell Store Thrift Shop.

Younus Samadzada, who was born in Kabul in 1948, will speak on the changes in the character of religion and culture in Afghanistan over the last few decades. The region has a long history of being open to many diverse religions: both Sunni and Shia Muslims, Zoroastrians, Sikhs, Hindus, Jews, Roman Catholics, and Buddhists. Very few adherents to these religions remain. By the 1950s, the dominant religion had become Sunni Muslim. In recent years, the government and warring factions have instituted strict adherence.
