Grafton Lakes State Park and the Friends of Grafton Lakes State Park will host the 33rd Annual Winter Festival. The Winter Fest will feature outdoor events along with indoor exhibits, food vendors, and family-friendly recreational activities. The event is free of charge and runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Voorheesville Rod & Gun Club will be holding an All You Can Eat Breakfast this Sunday, January 21 at their location: 52 Foundry Road Voorheesville, NY. (Just off South Maine Street).  Proceeds for this event will go to help send Children to N.Y. State Department of Environmental Conservation Camp Colby in the Adirondacks this summer. We are hoping to send 6 children to this camp. Breakfast will include Eggs, French Toast, Pancakes, Sausage, Bacon, Toast, Juice, and Coffee. The event will go from 7 AM to Noon.

Learn Basic Winter Skills. All ages are invited to join David Muska of Ondatra Adventures from 10 am to 1 pm for an introduction to the fundamentals of tracking and the stories animals leave behind. As a licensed NYS Wilderness Guide and Wilderness Skills Instructor, David works with youth and adults in the world of 'primitive' skills and 'nature connection' through Troy-based Ondatra Adventures. The class will begin indoors and move outside to the trails.
