Annual holiday luncheon

On Tuesday, Dec. 10, at noon our holiday luncheon will be held at Mallozzi’s Clubhouse at Western Turnpike Golf Course, Route 20.

Your menu choice are sliced sirloin of beef or stuffed filet of sole.

The cost is $19 per person. Transportation is available for Guilderland   seniors. Tickets are available from Nov. 12 to Dec. 3. Please make checks                                            payable to: The Town of Guilderland.

Special shopping trips

In place of Mall Shopping Day there will be a bus trip to The Christmas Tree Shop. The trips are scheduled for Nov. 18 and 20h. Call 356-2920 to sign up as soon as possible.

Basic Star registrations

The Town of Guilderland Senior Office and the town’s police department have been working together to help senior drivers drive safer and longer through the town’s driver fitness center. Located in Guilderland town hall, the center is designed to ensure the safety and independence of older drivers and to help seniors and their families find tangible solutions to their driving challenges.  For more information please call Cindy in the senior office.

Art and culture trip

Participants may order the featured hot meal, listed on the calendar, or opt for a cold tuna salad plate or cold fruit plate. Orders must be placed with our office by 10:30 a.m., the day before the luncheon and the suggested donation is only $3. Some decide to bring their own lunch, which is also fine. Following the lunch, many seniors play bingo, other board games, shoot a game of pool, or simply converse with friends. Please think about joining our Tuesday family. We would love to have you. Transportation is available.
