The Guilderland Senior Services is offering the following activities the week of   Nov. 11. Call the senior office at 356-1980, ext. 1048 for any questions or information.

Monday: Town Hall closed for Veterans Day;

Tuesday:  Strong Bones at 9 a.m., luncheon of glazed ham at 11:30 a.m., bingo, Rummikub, and Scrabble at 12:30 p.m.;

Wednesday: Scheduled shopping, Cardio circuit at 9 a.m., Strong Bones at 10:30 a.m., senior fitness at 10:30 a.m., needlecraft at 1 p.m., and Strong Bones at 1:30 p.m.

Thursday:  Scheduled shopping, Strong Bones at 9 a.m., the movie Man of Steel at 10:30 a.m., registration was required by Nov. 7, Mahjongg at 12:30 p.m., and Pinochle at 1 p.m.; and

Friday: Scheduled shopping, painting at 10 a.m., bridge at 10 a.m., and quilting at 1 p.m.

Annual holiday luncheon

On Tuesday, Dec. 10, at noon our holiday luncheon will be held at Mallozzi’s Clubhouse at Western Turnpike Golf Course, Route 20.

Your menu choice are sliced sirloin of beef or stuffed filet of sole.

The cost is $19 per person. Transportation is available for Guilderland   seniors. Tickets are available from Nov. 12 to Dec. 3. Please make checks                                            payable to: The Town of Guilderland.

Special shopping trips

In place of Mall Shopping Day there will be a bus trip to The Christmas Tree Shop. The trips are scheduled for Nov. 18 and 20h. Call 356-2920 to sign up as soon as possible.

Basic Star registrations

The deadline for the Basic Star Exemption registration with the NYS Tax Department is Dec. 31. Registration may be done online at www.tax.ny.gov, or by calling 457-0203. If you have any questions please call our assessor’s office at 356-1980, ext. 1013.
