The Berne Public Library will become Congressman Paul D.Tonko’s Mobile Office on Friday, Aug. 3, between 3 and 6 p.m.

Roll up your sleeves and get ready for the third installment of “Dare to Repair” starting at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 21, in the Berne Public Library’s community room.

Wednesday’s “Music In The Park” sizzles along on July 18 at 6:30 p.m. with “Woodchuck Wood” belting out the beat at the Berne Town Park for week two of five consecutive weeks.

Listen to the song spurt — “Ob-La-Di” and name that tune! “Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da life goes on, brah.” Hear it in your head and slap that buzzer.

Picture the scene. It’s time to dance at the wedding and inhibitions are thrown to the wind.

The art room is open and ready for viewing. June’s featured artist in the Berne Library’s community space is Colleen Skiff sharing lively framed watercolor works.

There’s a new art exhibit adorning the south wall of the community room at the Berne Public Library.

The hillsides are greening up. Lawnmowers are on the move. Gardens are beginning to sprout.

June is here with the promise of summer’s abundant happenings. While graduations commence and vacations are thought about, another week of events unfolds at the Berne Public Library.

A bevy of Berne Library fans and supporters are funneling a united effort of creativity into their float entry for the 2018 Memorial Day Parade.
