On Friday, Sept. 26, the Bethlehem field hockey squad traveled to Niskayuna High School in a Suburban Council matchup. From the opening whistle, the Eagles controlled the play until the final whistle as they won 11-1.

Last Thursday, Sept. 25, the Bethlehem girls’ soccer squad traveled to Columbia High School to take on the Blue Devils. The weather wasn’t the greatest to start as a monsoon rain was coming down then in the second half it was calm but the Eagles fell 2-0.

On Tuesday, Sept. 23, the Berne-Knox-Westerlo girls’ volleyball squad hosted the Mekeel Christian Academy Lions. The Bulldogs’ fought hard but fell in straight sets; 17-25, 16-25, 18-25.

On Saturday, Sept. 20, the Voorheesville boys’ soccer team hosted the Berne-Knox-Westerlo-Duanesburg in a non league matchup. In a physical matchup, it needed more than the original 80-minutes. The game ended in a tie at 1-1.

On Friday, Sept. 19, the Guilderland-Voorheesville girls’ swimming team took to the pool at Clayton A. Bouton High School as they took on Shaker. Guilderville battled but fell 99 to 87.

Last Thursday, Sept. 18, the Voorheesville Blackbirds hosted the Cohoes Tigers in a Colonial Council matchup. The Blackbirds spread and spiked home a straight set win; 25-15, 25-21, 25-15.

Last Wednesday, Sept. 17, Bethlehem girls’ golf squad hosted the Berne-Knox-Westerlo girls at Normanside Country Club. The Eagles chipped past the Bulldogs 193-211.

On Tuesday, Sept. 16, the Guilderland girls’ volleyball team hosted Suburban Council foe in Niskayuna. The Dutch battled tough in the last two sets but fell 3-to-0; 11-25, 22-25, 22-25.

On Saturday, Sept. 13, Bethlehem and Guilderland cross-country teams took to the course at Queensbury High School, home of the 2025 NYSPHSAA championships, as they competed in the Queensbury Invitational. Bethlehem competed in Division 3; the boys finished eighth while the girls finished third.

On Friday evening, Sept. 12, the Guilderland football team had their home opener in the early part of the season, taking on Columbia. The Dutch took control from the opening kickoff as they sailed to a 47-to-7 win.
