Barry James Schinnerer

Barry Schinnerer, along with his late wife, Terry, was a beloved Berne-Knox-Westerlo bus driver for more than 30 years.

Born on June 19, 1954, he died on Monday, Nov. 24, 2025. He was 71.

MONTPELIER, Ind. — Wyatt Joe Hasinbiller dedicated his life to helping people with his wrecker service, his family wrote in a tribute.

He died unexpectedly at 11:20 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2025, in his home in rural Montpelier, Indiana, which is in Washington township. He was 52.

William “Bill” J. Casey of Rotterdam loved playing and coaching baseball and cheering on the Minnesota Twins.

He died peacefully surrounded by his family on Thursday, Dec. 11, 2025. He was 92.

GUILDERLAND — Paul Ableman, a Korean War veteran with a gentle spirit, cherished his family above all else.

He died surrounded by the love of his family on Thursday, Dec. 11, 2025. He was 96.

CONCORD, N.C. — Stephen Richards, a Navy pilot who loved to fly, also loved reading, music, and outdoor activities.

He died peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2025 in Concord, North Carolina, where he lived. He was 66.

Dorothy Lee, who loved gardening and music, was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She died peacefully on Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2025. She was 89.

Born Dorothy Alice Lawyer on April 4, 1936 in Schoharie to parents Howard and Ella Mae Lawyer, she was one of 11 children.

GUILDERLAND — Marion J. Preisser Leizer was a world traveler who loved to sing and was proud of her many jobs.

She died peacefully on Monday, Nov. 24, 2025. She was 88.

She was born in Albany, the daughter of the late Susan Barré and stepfather Gerard Barré.
