Wayde G. Bush
ALTAMONT — Wayde G. Bush, who loved fishing and floating on the Mohawk, never said ‘no’ to someone who needed help.
He was born in Altamont on April 1, 1987 to Wayde and the late Monica Bush, and he died peacefully on Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2025. He was 38.
“Wayde resided in Altamont most of his life and was a graduate of Guilderland High School,” his family wrote in a tribute. “He worked for Golub for many years.
“When Wayde wasn’t working, he was riding 4-wheelers, motorcycles, and snowmobiles. He built a boat to fish on at camp, but he loved his time floating the Mohawk in his bass boat most.
“His greatest passion was his niece and two nephews and he went above and beyond to share his favorite things with the three of them. Any house would fill with yells of excitement from the kids when he would arrive.
“Wayde was a special person who would light up a room when he entered. He never said ‘no’ to anyone that needed help. He provided his time and resources, but most of all, his heart.
“Wayde will be remembered for his loyalty, humor, and his love of family and friends. He will be profoundly missed.”
