Robert Mitchell Rabbin

ALTAMONT — Robert Mitchell Rabbin, a respected systems engineer at General Electric who traveled the world, found his great joy in his family.

He died on Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2025, after a hard-fought battle with prostate cancer. He was 67.

Born in Brooklyn, he was the son of the late Dr. Jack and Florence Rabbin.

Carolyn J. Haley

EAST BERNE — Carolyn J. (née Sisson) Haley was a soft-spoken, fun-loving woman devoted to her children and grandchildren.

“She was a kid at heart,” said her daughter, Sandra Willsey. “She just loved doing things with the kids and grandkids.”

Paul F. Forand

ALTAMONT — Paul F. Forand, an educator at heart, taught in Guilderland schools for more than three decades and enjoyed outdoor adventures with children and grandchildren.

He died peacefully at St. Peter’s Hospital in Albany on Thursday, Dec. 26, 2024. He was 85.

KNOX  — Blanche L. Tubbs, who worked hard to take care of her family, died peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday, Dec. 12, 2024. She was 95.

She was born on April 28, 1929, the daughter of the late Elmer and Goldie Taber Finch. For 50 years, she was the beloved wife of the late Leonard Tubbs.

John Martin ‘Jack’ Kudlack Jr.

RENSSELAERVILLE — John Martin “Jack” Kudlack Jr., who served as an Army medic in Vietnam and then worked as a nurse and police officer, always helped other people.

He died on Saturday, Sept. 14, 2024.
