Agricultural producers who have not yet enrolled in the Agriculture Risk Coverage or Price Loss Coverage programs for the 2024 crop year have until March 15 to revise elections and sign contracts.

Starting next Wednesday, dairy producers will be able to enroll for 2024 Dairy Margin Coverage, a safety net program offered through the U.S.

The state’s Department of Environmental Conservation is, by Aug. 1, returning to plain paper rather than synthetic paper for sporting licenses and carcass tags.

Free Fishing Days in New York will take place on: Feb. 17 to 18 (Presidents’ Day Weekend), June 29 to 30, Sept. 28 (National Hunting and Fishing Day), and Nov. 11 (Veterans Day).

During these days, the fishing license requirement is waived for freshwater fishing on New York’s waters.
