Kevin James Craft, who was known for his kindness, died on Monday, Jan. 1, 2024, with family by his side at MidHudson Regional Hospital in Poughkeepsie, New York. He was 49.

Born on Dec. 17, 1974, in Albany, he was the son of the late James Ellsworth Craft and Kay Ann (née McIntosh) Craft.

Blair Joseph Sala

CLARKSVILLE — Blair Joseph Sala “went to be with God” on Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2024, his family wrote in a tribute. He was 47.
He was born on Jan. 17, 1976 in Albany to Joseph and Diane Sala of Clarksville.

Ronnie Meilinger

VOORHEESVILLE — Ronnie Meilinger, a letter carrier and school bus driver who coached school sports for his children and grandchildren, died on Monday, Jan. 15, 2024. He was 79.
The son of Ed and Portia Meilinger, he lived his entire life in Voorheesville, and graduated from Clayton A. Bouton High School there.

Jacob Timothy Albright

NEW SCOTLAND — Jacob Timothy Albright was a seeker.

A gifted artist, an animal lover, and a musician, he loved to read and learn new things.

He died on Monday, Jan. 15, 2024 — “entering heaven to be with his grandmothers,” his parents wrote in a tribute. He was 39.

VOORHEESVILLE — Mark A. Hesselbacher worked for major corporations but considered his greatest accomplishment being a husband and father.

He died on Sunday Jan. 7, 2024, at Riverview Hospital in Red Bank, New Jersey. He was 66 years old.

Rosemary Christoff Dolan

WRIGHT — Rosemary Christoff Dolan worked as both a professional and as a volunteer to help people in need.

Ms. Christoff Dolan, who lived on Cook Road in the Schoharie County town of Wright, died on Sunday, Jan. 7, at the Albany Medical Center after a decline in health. She was 78.

Margaret A. Maynes, a kind person who grew up in Westerlo and lived most of her life in Berne, worked for four generations of Hannays at their hose reel company.
 She “sadly left us on Friday, Jan. 5, 2024, at Our Lady of Mercy surrounded in the comfort of her family and friends,” her family wrote in a tribute. She was 92.

PULASKI — Kimball F. Miller of Pulaski “left this world peacefully to join his wife and two children” his family wrote in a tribute.

Mr. Miller died on Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2023, at Upstate Hospital in Syracuse. He was 78.
