— The Willing Workers society presented the Reformed church with a silver baptismal bowl which was used for the first time last Sunday when eight children were baptized.

Mrs. Alan Merselis, who has been seriously ill, is very much improved and was able to sit up and view the Fourth of July parade and receive the salute of the Girl Scouts, of which she is the captain.
