VILLAGE NOTES.

— A small band of gypsies is in camp on the cross road north of the village. Instead of going about in the old style manner — horses and fancy wagons and a retinue of camp followers — these people have an up-to-date automobile and seem quite civilized.

CLARKSVILLE.

Over $9.00 was realized from the sale of ice cream at the Methodist church last Saturday evening. The social and entertainment were a success.

WEST BERNE.

Several from this place had the pleasure of attending the movies at Schoharie last Thursday evening.
