Lots of good stuff in your Feb. 26 issue.  I especially enjoyed the Guilderland service dogs article and the tributes to Roger the Sheriff.

Once again, the Hilltowns Community Resource Center will be able to benefit from “The Annual $1 Million Giveaway to fight Hunger.” This is the 18th year Alan Feinstein will divide $1 million dollars among not-for-profit hunger-fighting agencies.

The Bethlehem Children's School is delighted to celebrate 20 years of providing quality education in a stress-free, test-free environment, a one-of-a-kind offering for the town of Bethlehem. We invite the community to join with us in commemorating this milestone through a creative and long-lasting endeavor.

To the Editor:

Pay-to-play refers to individuals, businesses, or organizations making campaign contributions to public officials and receiving paybacks in return. These paybacks include lucrative county contracts, influence over legislation, and political appointments.

To the Editor:

I take a Spanish level 4 class as a sophomore at Guilderland High School. In our Spanish class, we were asked to make an environmental change.
