In last week’s edition of The Altamont Enterprise, Lee Carman responded to two issues that I had raised during this campaign.

To the Editor:

I didn’t want to do it but I had no choice. This extended economic downturn finally beat me down and I closed the small business I had in Guilderland.

To the Editor:

Reading Mr. [Jeffrey] Baker’s and Supervisor [Thomas] Dolin’s response to my letter of Oct. 24, I was reminded of the typical bureaucratic response from small-town officials who cannot make a decision or who are bullied into a decision by the controlling officer of the town. Let me explain.

To the Editor:

Have you ever met an ugly person? I’m not talking about physical beauty. I’m talking about the kind of person who lies, lacks integrity, is pompous, displays arrogance, and is corrupt, selfish, or basically evil.
