VOORHEESVILLE — Voorheesville softball coach Matt Fiato didn’t want to call Tuesday’s win over Holy Names an upset, but it was definitely the biggest win of the year for the Blackbirds this season.





BERNE — With the season winding down, the Berne-Knox-Westerlo baseball team picked a good time to play one of its best games of the season.





BERNE — For the fourth time this year, members of the Berne-Knox-Westerlo softball team were able to run a victory lap around the base paths. If they had followed the practice last year, they would have done it only four times.





GUILDERLAND — The fantastic season for the Guilderland baseball team continued this past week, as the Dutchmen bounced back from their only loss to win three games.


GUILDERLAND — After losing a couple of games this past week, the Guilderland softball team picked up a big win on Monday.

The Lady Dutch beat Columbia, 4-2, in East Greenbush on Monday.





GUILDERLAND — The lights of John Fallon Field on the University at Albany campus shone on the four senior members of the Guilderland girls’ lacrosse team.

The only thing brighter than those lights, were the smiles on their faces.



GUILDERLAND — The Guilderland baseball team suffered its first loss of the season on Saturday, but bounced back in resounding fashion.





GUILDERLAND — It will be just a matter of time before the young Guilderland softball players will make the team one of the top in the Suburban Council again.

GUILDERLAND — After picking up its biggest win of the season, there wasn’t much of a letdown for the Guilderland boys’ lacrosse team.

The Dutchmen split a pair of one-goal games — their fourth in a row — this past week.
