Suspect charged in Stuyvesant Plaza burglary

GUILDERLAND — In the summer of 2024, three men smashed the front window of an upscale boutique in Stuyvesant Plaza, Lola Saratoga, stealing merchandise; one of those suspects has now been arraigned, according to a Dec. 3 release from the Guilderland Police.
The burglary took place at about 12:30 a.m. on July 23, 2024, with the suspects fleeing in a white Honda SUV.
In connection with that burglary, Christopher Tyler, 24, of Washington, D.C., was arraigned on Nov. 20, 2025 following an indictment out of Albany County. Tyler has been indicted on charges of third-degree burglary, fourth-degree grand larceny, and two counts of second-degree criminal mischief.
The Albany County District Attorney's Office is prosecuting the case.
“I have no further information at this time,” said Guilderland Investigator Kristopher Scarano in an email. “We are still requesting the public’s assistance if they have any further information on this case.”
