Learn about gardening with native wildflowers

To the Editor:
Thacher State Park and Wild Ones of the Capital Region are co-hosting the second annual Native Plant Celebration and Seed Swap this Saturday.

Learn about gardening with native wildflowers, enjoy treats from the native-species bake sale, take a pastels-and-pressed-flowers class, hear children’s stories, take home seeds for your own native flower garden, and more!

Whether you’re an adult or child, an experienced native plant grower or brand-new to gardening, there’s a place for you at this free family event at the Thacher Park Visitor Center on Saturday, Nov. 11, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Call 518-872-0800 for more information.
