Give Mike Malark donated food for hurricane victims

To the Editor:

While we prepare to give thanks this month, there are many in this country still devastated by the effects of hurricanes Florence and Michael. Voorheesville’s resident disaster-relief expert, Mike Malark, is planning a trip to Florida and Georgia the week after Thanksgiving and is seeking food donations to bring to the storms’ victims.

Needed items include: spaghetti sauce (in plastic), cereals (no corn flakes), peanut butter and jelly (in plastic), and soup as well as other non-perishable food items. Donations may be dropped off at Mike Malark’s home at 14 Crow Ridge Road in Voorheesville, and left in either the garage or on the front porch.

Please have your items delivered by Nov. 21, the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. Thank you for your support!
