Thoughts from a Helderberg Kiwanian who volunteers for roadside cleanup

To the Editor:
1. 84 and 82 is too old to be clambering around ditches.

2. Deposits on cans and bottles should be tripled and extended to more bottles.

3. Slow up when passing us. Those pickup mirrors scare me half to death.

4. Junk should not be thrown. The other side of the ditch is steep and wet.

5. Empty the containers. They are too heavy to carry half full and icky to remove covers to pour it out.

6.  Don’t let me catch you throwing out your trash. I could be in jail for my actions.
