To the Editor:

Last weekend’s Discover the Hilltowns driving tour provided adventures and treats for all who came out to explore the Helderbergs.

This annual event is sponsored by the Helderberg Hilltowns Association (www.hilltowns.org), whose mission is to promote farms, businesses, culture, and recreation in the Hilltowns.

The goals of the tour are to introduce our beautiful countryside and its many hidden treasures, and to expand opportunities for the artists, service providers, farmers and other entrepreneurs who make up this community.

The benefits of shopping locally extend to us all! Many thanks to the host venues and to all of the tourists who participated in supporting them.
