Guilderland Bulldogs place 13th out of 104 teams at Cooperstown

To the Editor:

The 12U Guilderland Bulldogs Travel Baseball team played a week-long tournament at Cooperstown Dream Park with 12-year-olds from over 25 states and Canada.

The Bulldogs went 6-0 in pool play and beat teams from all over the country including teams from Wyoming, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Illinois, and Texas.

The team participated in the famous skills competitions, including the Golden Glove, Around the Horn Plus and Road Runner. One of the players, Luke Randio, finished second in the HR King of Swat competition out of 104 players.

The Bulldogs finished in 13th place with a record of 6-1 out of the 104 teams.
