How about a senior rate?

To the Editor:
General admission to the Altamont Fair is $22, which includes rides.

While this is a good deal for those who enjoy rides, not so much for many seniors who do not.

Although there is a free Senior Day, many seniors would also like to attend evenings.

How about a senior arm bracelet for those 65 and older of perhaps $7?

Many of us like walking the fairgrounds, enjoying the exhibits and eating “fair food.”

We are a source of income that the fair administrators and vendors are missing out on.
