I have enjoyed my subscription to The Altamont Enterprise as a way to keep track of the goings-on of my hometown decades after my departure.

I read “Dems Back Clenahan” (June 14) with great pride seeing that the Guilderland Democratic Committee is following the national organization’s lead in never making an intelligent decision.

The overt nepotism shown in the choice to back Bryan Clenahan over the highly qualified and current town justice, Christine Napierski, is just the sort of pompous maneuver that has led to the party’s loss of credibility across the nation. Keep up the good work!
