DELMAR PLANS A BIG DAY FOR THE GLORIOUS FOURTH.
Delmar will celebrate the Fourth of July in a fashion fitting “Victory Year.” The program as planned by a committee of 133 leading citizens with the financial backing of the entire community will begin at one o’clock and will include every wholesome attraction of a safe and sane Independence day. It will be opened with a parade, in which all of the village organizations will be represented, including a considerable body of returned soldiers, a first rate band, a pageantry of floats arranged by the school grades, churches, Boy and Girl Scouts, Grangers, and the Delmar Fire company. Refreshment booths conveniently located along the line of march will provide food and cold soft drinks for the crowd. At three o’clock a field day will be celebrated by Elsmere, the crowning feature of which will be a baseball game, Elsmere vs. Delmar. The band will play during the sports and at their conclusion will give concerts at various points, so that visitors may enjoy the music without undue congestion.
DELANSON AND QUAKER STREET.
A representative of the Anti-Saloon League will speak in the M. E. church Sunday evening.

DANCING AT BINS’ GROVE.
Commencing Saturday, June 28, and July 4, and every Wednesday and Saturday evening during July and August. Music by four-piece orchestra, at Bins’ Grove, Warner’s Lake.
VILLAGE NOTES.
— J. F. Mynderse is having his store building painted by Claude Chesebro. Mr. Mynderse evidently has taken the hint like several of our residents have already done, to paint up and clean up. A little bit of paint works wonders in the looks of a home. Just try it and see.
— The Altamont baseball team will have as their opponents on the fair grounds Saturday afternoon the Voorheesville team of the Albany County league. This will be Altamont’s first home game, and a large crowd is expected. Our boys will put up a good game if they are given the encouragement which only a large crowd of enthusiastic baseball fans can give them. Come out and “root” for your home team.
