Helderberg Senior Services are more than just lunch

To the Editor:

Helderberg Senior Services serves a tasty hot lunch Monday, Tuesday, and Friday at the Berne Community and Senior Services Center on Route 443 in Berne.

We’re not just lunch! Various programs are offered throughout the week — holidays are remembered, birthdays are celebrated on the first Tuesday of the month, and crafts are given on Tuesdays with most materials provided. Motivational speakers and puzzles and games are enjoyed — Bingo Monday is June 19.

Call 24 hours in advance to reserve a meal — (518) 872-0940. Doors open at 11 a.m.

Take a break from your kitchen to ours for lunch, conversation, etc.

I am a proud town of Knox volunteer for Helderberg Senior Services.
