Kudos for Kidder

To the Editor:

Let me add my kudos to the amazing Susan Kidder, who has been the senior liaison for the town of New Scotland [She will never say a word about it, but Susan Kidder has helped countless New Scotland seniors,” The Altamont Enterprise, March 7, 2019].

Susan has proved over and over to be an invaluable asset to the seniors who depended on her for help and direction in a time of need or confusion.

She worked tirelessly to make life better for our older population, many times beyond the scope of what her job called for, and sometimes without acknowledgment of her dedication. I think particularly of the way she has nurtured the bus trips and programming into an exemplary service.

She has loved and cared for all of our parents and grandparents, and strangers as well. I don’t think everyone realizes how much she did and how much praise she deserves. I hope she has she has a heckuva fun retirement.
