Eat spaghetti, say goodbye to winter

To the Editor:

Uh-oh, spaghetti — Ooh!

Mark your calendars for March 5, from 5 to 7 p.m., and help us say goodbye to winter with our First Monday Free Community Dinner at the Altamont Reformed Church. Come early and bring a friend as the last serving is at 6:30.

You will love our delicious spaghetti menu with or without sausage, salad, and homemade desserts! It is a great time to make new friends as well as catch up on the winter activities (or inactivities) of your known friends and neighbors.

If you are new to Altamont, we hope you’ll bring the family and jump right in. There will be a kids’ table with crafts and leaders so parents can relax!

Since it’s not corned beef and cabbage, we can still celebrate the “Wearin’ o’ the Green” by awarding an extra cupcake or two to the person with the best green outfit!

Parking is in rear parking lot. People with handicaps may park at the side of the church and use the side entrance. See you on the fifth.
