I could feel her pain

To the Editor:

Elizabeth Floyd Mair did a great job of covering the story of Tod Mell’s accuser [“Victim speaks: Mell’s accuser, now an adult, tells her story,” The Altamont Enterprise, Feb. 7, 2019].

This abuse should not be tolerated by anyone, and I am so sad that a teacher could be that cruel, but I am no dummy; I know it happens way too often.

Thanks so much. I read every word, and could feel her pain.
