It takes a village to put on a Teddy Bear Tea

To the Editor:

The New Salem Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary would like to thank the many volunteers — it certainly takes a village — and the fire department for providing transportation to Santa to arrive to the Winter Wonderland Teddy Bear Tea with Mrs. Claus held on Sunday, Dec. 8.

We are so thankful for the donations from Hannaford in both Voorheesville and Guilderland for tea sandwich fixings and so much more. Also, new this year, was a white hot chocolate buffet with many toppings along with homemade white chocolate stirring spoons to choose from donated and served by Carl’s Advance Automotive and Truck Repair Center here in Voorheesville.

It was a fun time had by all!
