DELMAR — The Bethlehem Chamber of Commerce is teaming up with local restaurants to present Bethlehem Restaurant Week on Monday, May 15, through Sunday, May 21.  Participating restaurants will offer a three-course dinner for $25.

Peter Blackman, owner of Altamont’s fine-dining restaurant, has made the fare and prices more accessible since it bought it in June. The eatery now has a new name as well.

A new shop in Star Plaza, Urban Tailor, is run by Euni Yang, wife of the pastor of McKownville United Methodist Church. Yang previously worked for 10 years as a tailor at Men’s Wearhouse, where one repeat customer who came to her for alterations was Bernie Sanders.

GUILDERLAND CENTER — The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing at Guilderland, a 127-bed nursing facility that provides rehabilitation and nursing services to patients who require either short- or long-term nursing care following hospitalization, has made three new appointments:

At a raucous meeting, the Knox Town Board agreed unanimously to hold a hearing on five potential new business districts, overriding a planning board recommendation.

BETHLEHEM — Realtor David Robinson has joined the Weichert, Realtors - Fontaine & Associates Delmar office.

Robinson grew up in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania and now lives in Albany.

A former resort and relic of the 1940s and ’50s has been bought with the intention to restore it and possibly rent it to local businesses in the town of Westerlo.
