B’nai Sholom Reform Congregation’s Fair Trade Market, Judaica Sale, and clothing drive on Sunday, Nov. 10, will help people in need.

The sales will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the synagogue at 420 Whitehall Road in Albany. The congregation will hold its semi-annual used clothing collection at the same time.

Back in June 1986, this newspaper reported that the annual Pucker Street Fair had been a bit wet “but the show went on.”

Though the Altamont Fair has long been a place to showcase agricultural achievements, more and more it’s also where people share their intimate connections to the living world with others.
