The architect hired by the Guilderland School District to design $18 million in upgrades to the district's seven buildings says the work is necessary to prevent being caught in "an emergency situation."

Voters need to be skeptical when they look at political propoganda to cut through the spin and get to the truth.

On a beautiful afternoon at Tawasentha Park, the Guilderland community gathered with friends, colleagues, and family to support the Friends of Guilderland Athletics concert fund-raiser for freshman sports and the Rodino Family.  

ALTAMONT — Boy Scout Troop 264 of Altamont will conduct its annual food drive in November.

Bags will be delivered to homes in Altamont on Saturday, Nov. 2.  The Scouts will return the following Saturday, Nov. 9, to retrieve donations.

 Altamont resident, Ruth O. Serafini, died peacefully on Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2013. She was 91.

GUILDERLAND – One week before the town election, the two major political parties are getting aggressive with their campaigning, each slinging accusations at the other.
A candidates’ forum, scheduled for Oct. 28, was canceled, and both sides are making accusations about the other’s ads and campaign contributions.
