GUILDERLAND — With great pleasure, Chris and Ellen Leach of Altamont announce the marriage of their daughter, Allison, to Jonah Michael Gladney of Cottage Grove, Oregon.
The wedding was held on April 5, 2014 at Timberline Lodge, Mount Hood, Oregon.
The free Helderberg Theater Festival goes through July 27 and includes performances of William Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, directed by Tony Pallone, and Pinocchio, directed by three students at Voorheesville’s high school — Stefanie DeFronzo, Jaynie Parment
The efforts are constant and ongoing to keep the Albany Pine Bush Preserve pine-barrens ecosystem, one of the few left in the world, intact. Current efforts include felling black locust trees.
ALTAMONT — Pride emanates from the three female police officers who serve and protect in Altamont, through their stories, their experiences, and their public appearances.
More than half of the 27 applicants for focus groups to discuss building capacity were from Altamont; the school district is seeking diverse representatives from across the community and so has pushed back the date.
