“No information was used for identity theft or fraud,” Superintendent Marie Wiles told The Enterprise.

Newt Ronan

The family of Newton Ronan would like to invite his friends and loved ones to a celebration of his life at Altamont Reformed Church at 129 Lincoln Ave. at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 19, 2021. As Dad wished, there will be singing, so if you’re vaccinated masks are optional. All unvaccinated people are required to be masked.

GUILDERLAND — Early Monday morning, before anyone was at Guilderland High School, “a threat came across on Instagram,” said Superintendent Marie Wiles.

The district worked with the Guilderland Police who investigated, she told The Enterprise, and it was determined the threat “was not credible.”

Capital District Scottish Games were held Sept. 4. To stem the spread of the coronavirus, the games did away with solo competition and with the highland dancers competition this year.
