Four run for two seats



BERNE — Four candidates are seeking two seats on the Berne-Knox-Westerlo School Board.

BERNE — Last week, Albany County officials and the town board began discussions about the town’s highway department sharing services with the county’s department of public works.

VOORHEESVILLE — Charging patients for ambulance rides, which was recently voted down by volunteer members of the ambulance squad, is under consideration again.

GUILDERLAND — The lights of John Fallon Field on the University at Albany campus shone on the four senior members of the Guilderland girls’ lacrosse team.

The only thing brighter than those lights, were the smiles on their faces.

GUILDERLAND — After picking up its biggest win of the season, there wasn’t much of a letdown for the Guilderland boys’ lacrosse team.

The Dutchmen split a pair of one-goal games — their fourth in a row — this past week.
