Dems dominate, Gage keeps seat



KNOX - Democrats returned to a position of dominance Tuesday night as the longtime supervisor, Michael Hammond, had a decisive win, and newcomer Mary Ellen Nagengast got the most votes for town board.

VOORHEESVILLE - It was a disappointing end to the season for the Voorheesville boys' soccer team. But the future looks bright.

The Blackbirds lost to Galway, 3-2, in a Class CC semifinal game last Wednesday in Glens Falls.



GUILDERLAND - On Tuesday, Oct. 30, the Farnsworth Middle School modified football team wrapped up its season with a 46-8 victory over Albany, capping off a perfect record of 7-0.
