Last Wednesday and Friday, Oct. 16 and 18, six Guilderland, two Berne-Knox-Westerlo, and one Voorheesville girls competed in the Section 2 championships at Hiland Park Country Club in Queensbury for a spot on the state team.

On Tuesday, Oct. 8, the Voorheesville girls’ golf team teed off at Colonie Country Club as they took on Catholic Central. The Blackbirds won 159 to 173.

Last Thursday, Sept. 14, the Voorheesville girls’ golf team took to the course at Colonie Country Club as they played against the Cadets of LaSalle. The fall weather helped the Birds as they won, 161 to 173.
