One of the most rewarding parts of working as an investigator at the Lawyers’ Fund, for Ray Wood, was ensuring that victims of dishonest lawyers were paid back.
Ray Wood’s hobby of finding the fathers of Amerasians living in the United States has brought peace and contentment to local restaurant owner Van Nguyen, who was able to meet and bond with his father over the months before the older man’s death in 2018.
The mood was solemn last Thursday at the Vietnam Memorial Wall near the town hall in Princetown. People came to remember those who died during the war.
