Memorials to  a much-loved town clerk and to Rensselaerville veterans look their mid-summer best.

BERNE — The new town nature and cultural center being developed on Game Farm Road, just off Switzkilll Road,  is kicking into higher gear this summer.

The parades through Voorheesville, Berne, and Knox Monday honored the lives of local men who died at war, featuring a large number of surviving veterans to uphold the ceremony.

EAST BERNE — Mary F. Delligan loved to help others; she took care of her family and of those who were ailing.

She died peacefully on Saturday, April 16, 2016, surrounded by her loving family. Born on July 15, 1940, she was 75.

The Old Men of the Mountain met at the Middleburgh Diner in the village of Middleburgh on March 29.

Westerlo's town board came under fire at Tuesday's meeting, accused by a few residents of continuing to exclude the public. 

This fall, Sustainable Hilltowns will host several community discussions. According to April Roggio, independent researcher and co-owner of the Medusa General Store, these community dialogues hope to answer this question: Would the development of a “makerspace” in the Hilltowns help to nurture small farmers?

Last Friday, we had our six-month anniversary for the lunch program, and I am rather proud of our success.
