HCRC finds resourceful ways to help make the holidays happier for the Hilltown elderly and low-income families.

The Hilltown Community Resource Center has had a surge of demand in its food pantry this year. To sponsor a family for the holidays or to make an appointment to shop in the food pantry, call the resource center at 797-5256.

Despite the disabilities and injury that have kept Kathleen Conn and her husband from steady work, they've held on to their home, and she keeps going by giving back to others.

A Guilderland volunteer scrounges, sews, and collects from generous locals to benefit the Hilltown Community Resource Center.

The music in the Westerlo Reformed Church on Sunday afternoon had people clapping, laughing, crying, and pondering with eyes closed, watered, or wide. The pews creaked beneath the mostly silent but enthusiastic congregation. Pale pink light shone through stained glass windows on Sept.

To the Editor:

Did you know that there is an organization established in Westerlo to help families with just that?
