GUILDERLAND — Police in Mississippi and Texas have been as stymied as police here in solving brutal murders of Chinese families.

The houses at 1848 and 1846 Western Avenue, where a family was murdered inside one year ago, are up for sale after being bought and renovated by three investors, including Flerida Santana Johnas.

New York State Police public information officer Mark Cepiel said the investigation in the murder of a family of four last October was still ongoing and there was no new information. But, he said, all evidence had been removed from the house, and the owners were free to do as they pleased with it.
